Vast amounts of gas, mangrove, fishing grounds, seagrass beds, arable lands and foreign loans (which the nation will have to repay)will be expended. 900,000 tons of carbon per year will be emitted from the steel mill. The health of the surrounding communities will be compromised for thirty to fifty years by thousands of tons of steel dust. The people,lands and communities will be the poor losers and the global banks, corporation and steel merchants will be the winners.
